Why is ESG reporting important?

On 21 April 2021, the European Commission adopted the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). The aim of this new directive is to encourage investors to make sustainable investments and thereby achieve sustainable and inclusive growth. The directive stipulates that all large companies and almost all listed companies will have to report on ESG in the future. But even if your organisation does not fall under the new guidelines, non-financial information is important. ESG reporting is ideally suited for this.

GAP analysis of current sustainability report

We use GAP analysis to compare an organisation's existing sustainability report. We do this with an existing framework for non-financial information such as GRI, IIRC, GHG, PCAF or CSRD (expected to be available at the end of October 2022). We identify any gaps and report on them in a clear, pragmatic report containing concrete recommendations for improvement.

Support with reporting non-financial information

If your organisation does not have a sustainability report, our consultants can assist in preparing a non-financial or impact report according to an existing framework such as GRI, IIRC, GHG, PCAF or CSRD (expected to be available at the end of October 2022). We can also support you with stakeholder dialogue, materiality analysis or ESG strategy development.

Analysis of internal control environment for non-financial information

In assessing the internal control environment for non-financial information, our consultants evaluate your ESG-related and other data, the underlying systems and measurement methods. This enables us to identify the aspects that could be improved in order to increase the reliability and quality of the data. Our observations are reported in a clear, pragmatic report containing concrete recommendations for improvement that enhance your internal control environment for non-financial information.
