Jan Bijpost

Jan Bijpost (1984) started his career as tax specialist in 2003 and moved from the big-4 to BDO in 2014. During his career Jan worked longer periods abroad in India and Switzerland and for BDO he was temporarily working at our Boston office in The United States.

Jan is responsible for the Global Tax Reporting Practice of our Amstelveen office. His clients are mainly corporate (listed) companies. Typical services provided by his team are amongst others: 
•    advising and implementing efficient tax reporting processes, including tax technology services;
•    drawing up the worldwide consolidated tax positions (on a quarterly or annual basis);
•    preparing disclosure notes in the consolidated financial statements;
•    taking care of complex corporate income tax returns, including optimizing the process;
•    Assistance with separate tax accounting queries or providing training.

Furthermore, Jan represents the office of BDO The Netherlands in the International Tax Accounting Leadership of BDO to retain our global tax accounting services optimized.
